that's because there has never been a top 3 player at 24 years old locked into a multi-year deal that was traded

at least not in the modern era when players need to abide by contracts, it happened 30-50 years ago when players could weasel out of their contracts more easily

Utah could easily be outbid by someone like OKC that could not only add more value to a package but also have plenty of leftover to work with after the trade
