Philly is in a spot where they cant really lose the 3rd seed and going for a higher seed will be an uphill battle
At the same time Embiid is in prime striking distance for his first MVP but needs to be rested for the playoffs
Interesting spot for the 76ers to be in. On one hand you kinda want Embiid to push for the MVP so that he can stop trying so hard for it in the regular seasons moving forward. On the other hand this might be the best 76ers squad they have had yet
Too many games remaining to talk about shutting guys down or resting them for the playoffs, at least at this point. Although the remaining schedule is brutal, avoiding the Heat in the first round is everyone's goal. The Heat will be a bitch to knock out in the first round and will probably drag a series out.
@ Suns (second leg of b2b)
@ Nuggets
vs Mavs
vs Raptors
@ Bucks
vs Celtics
vs Heat
@ Hawks (second leg of b2b)
@ Nets
Celtics remaining schedule is easier, but they tend to lose to bum teams these days anyway so who knows. We'll probably know by the time that Celtics @ Sixers game comes around on April 4th, that may be a huge deciding factor in the #2/#3 seed obv.
