Porzingis didn't finish the 2020 playoffs, but played the 7 games series the following season

I won't argue that Porzingis is more likely than anyone to be done for the season because he is....but those guys aren't playing that much more considering just how injury prone Kristaps is. Embiid only 5 games? Really?
The number should be much larger, no?

I think its a poor comparison considering Giannis has played 6 seasons 70+ and Embiid/KP have done it once collectively

It’s not the best, but I am just trying to show that Porzingis isn’t playing that much less than those guys during the reg seasons in recent years.

I totally understand that Giannis has played 70 and 80 game seasons, but if recent trend continues (4+ Seasons) it will be 5 years in a row below 70.

You said why did I pick 2020? Going back another 3 years would give Porzingis 2 of his 3 healthiest seasons, so it’s not like I picked a year that helps his numbers. It doesn’t help his case against Giannis, but it does vs. Embiid.

I thought a 4+ year sample was good enough, but 3 more seasons helps when it comes to Porzingis health.

Again another difference is that Giannis was the leader of teams contending for Championships. It made sense to load manage Giannis a few regular season games to have him as close to healthy as possible for a playoff push. Giannis also plays hard for random regular season games more often than most stars. I think Giannis' injuries have been mostly self induced because he is trying to hero ball too much. To me the durability Giannis has displayed is clearly in a different category than Embiid and KP, look how he came back from a gruesome injury to lay down a 50 burger in a Chip sealing win.
