Assuming Kobe becomes a 33 minute per game 20 points per game guy, Lakers could use Melo.
People always bash on Kobe for being a hog, but as of late, he's been passing the ball much more than when he was in his prime.
Last season (not 13/14 but the 12/13 one) Kobe had 6 assists per game. Tied for career high (04/05). Last season, albeit only 6 games played, he had over 6 assists per game as well.
If Melo comes, I guarantee he'll take the most shots and Kobe will become more of a facilitator.

I'm not sure Kobe will ever be able to be a consistent 33 mpg player again dude. He's getting old and his role should change. He can still be a great player, but I'm not sure as a Lakers fan I'd want him to be my #1 option. Hence where a guy like Melo could come in

cupcake dun herd it for yrs about kobe's shitty team so he grinded away and finally got a smoking deal. pau hasnt fell off that hard, hes been digesting new teammates and schemes like no other, especially the last season and a half with kobe pretty much out and a new d-leaguer starting every night
