Holiday will be a great addition for the Celtics though, their perimeter defense will be stifling.

Sucks for KP but Jrue is efficient af so he’s going to have to give up some looks to him too

Jaylen and Jayson FINALLY have a big they can run both pick and pop/roll unlike Horford and Timelord
That’s going to make guarding them even harder now imo since it was predictable what the screener was going to do

You're right though. It's a clear upgrade over Smart either way. Although a year ago ^nwotmik argued with me how Smart is so much better than Holiday. I'm sure that has changed now that Holiday is in a Celtics uniform though 🤣

If the Celtics can get anything similar to his shooting numbers during his Bucks career, it's truly a massive upgrade over Marcus Smart
One thing I'm looking forward to is seeing if they are going to utilize him in the post. Celtics had a lot of success with Smart doing it, so I look forward to Jrue taking advantage of it as well
Smart still has the edge defensively imo, especially when it comes to grit and hustle, but Jrue was just named to the 1st Team All Defense, again... B) so maybe he is better hehe
The gap on offense is huge while on defense it's minimal. Jrue is the better player. No doubt.
