I think the Lakers take Smart if he is there, they need to find a replacement for Kobe........well technically they need to find a replacement for every position.

Smart SHOULD be a good player in the NBA, but let's be real, nobody will "replace" what Kobe has done for the Lakers.
Imo, I like Vonleh here though.. Crazy athletic, nice jumper, huge wingspan and shows a lot of heart for an 18 year old. Someone to replace Pau's lazy ass

e: with that being said, I'd be happy with Smart too. I can see him being like a Bledsoe kinda player and i'm sure Kobe would keep his attitude in tack

Vonleh isn't athletic.

I just can't see us keeping that pick. No way any player worth mentioning falls to 7th, and we want to contend this upcoming season. We want to sign a big guy this summer and go for it in 14/15. Had we gotten a top 3 one, sure, but we're not going to take it slow.
