Tried to trade a broken Brogdon, which would have been highway robbery. Sounds like the trade leaked early before Clippers medical staff had a chance to completely review Brogdons medical records. Once they reviewed those they axed that move.

A couple of late picks are nice, but losing Smart could backfire. Especially if Brogdon isn't healthy next season. All of a sudden the depth in the backcourt is gone and their salary situation is bloated on seven players (one being Brogdon).

Marcus fart was lame as fuck. Guy shoots like 40% and mainly is an elite defender on the perimeter. Porz + picks, I think the Cs got linked. They easily attract free agents too, doubt it'll be hard to replenish the backcourt depth.

They need to (and want to) move Brogdon, but they can't because he's broken.

That deal was scrapped, the Clippers were supposed to get Brogdon but backed out after seeing his medical issues. So the celtics started a separate trade involving the Grizz (and Wizards) instead, and sent Smart instead.

Marcus has been toxic toward fans a few times toward his career… he’s not nearly as bad as what JB is, but no player likes Boston fans lmao

Even the socials are toxic as hell.

Since the Celtics are planning on keeping Brown and Tatum, expect them to dump Brogdon and someone else to make sure they stay below the luxury.

Wyc likely wants to reset the penalty this year before being locked into it once he commits to both.

A vet facilitator would be nice though. I don’t think they need anything else. We already know they won’t be losing because of talent, so maybe a little less with clearer roles will be a good thing.
