Gotcha.
I have a lot of faith in the organization and frankly the team's resources and market is a draw for talent, so they will be competitive eventually, there's just so much in the air for the next couple of years. Basically, like I said a few pages ago I think, these last two years will kind of be Kobe's "farewell tour" (assuming he plays and doesn't get injured into early retirement) and they will need to wait till he's out of the picture to pursue a very competitive team.
I just hope they assemble a roster that is at least fun to watch. All things considered D'Antoni succeeded in this the best he could last year lol.
yeah thats the one thing that sucks. kobe most likely is not going to win a ring next season. although his chances might go up his last season (2015-2016), hes probably not going to win a ring that season either.
unfortunately kobe might be ending his career right when the lakers begin to start competing. and thats if Kobe comes back healthy and ready to play for these next two years. hopefully he wont turn into nash where we only see him play a dozen or two games for the next few years.
in the end, everything can go wrong or everything can go right. we're going to need all the pieces to fall into place for us to even smell the ring by then. an injury here or there, a bad hiring (coach), or our pick ending up to be a bust can change everything.
who knows?
maybe the lakers wont even reach the finals until the next decade.
NAHHHHH, who am i kidding. LAKERS 2018 CHAMPS, QUOTE ME!
