With everything he has said, surely he can't continue to live in Boston....right?
Funny thing though....Brogdon, who is just as big when it comes to raising such awareness....had no problem dropping his starter status to come play for Boston and their racist fans

The Celtics were the first NBA franchise to draft an African-American player -- Chuck Cooper in 1950.
They became the first NBA team to send an all-black starting lineup onto the floor.
The Celtics made Russell the league's first black head coach.

That's some interesting history if you ask me.

It's truly unfortunate that the few racists out there give Boston a bad name, but the Celtics and almost all of the city ain't got nothing to do with that.
You people who like to constantly bring that up, you guys do way more for the racists than whatever these racists are doing. Stop keeping them alive.

Brogdon contradicted every single reason he left the Bucks after he decided to give up in Indy. Said he wanted more minutes as a starter, said he wanted the big money contract, said he wanted to play for a more politically motivated team/city for black people. I think he didn’t want to come back to Milwaukee because he would have looked like he backpedaled on his stance more than by joining Boston.

Dude left for Indiana. Weather and market surely weren't motivators there.

I think he probably realised he needed to sacrifice personal success and motivation to win a championship.

The odd thing is his major sticking point for leaving Milwaukee is because its so racist from his POV. Geographically it is one of the most segregated cities in the country. However Boston isn’t really much different, at least from an outside perspective most casuals see the city as pretty racist.

Definitely agree that he wised up to the fact that he would never win as a top option.

Boston is known for two things:

1) the ABSOLUTE most cringe/annoying accents in the U.S. They sound like toddlers trying to talk, unable to properly pronounce basic words. Hence why they are always voted as the most annoying accents in the Country.

2) Racist fans

Brogdon really gave up all of his desires in pursuit of winning. Gotta admire it, even tho it pains me to see him with Boston when he could've just stayed in Milwaukee if it was really all just about competing and accepting a bench role. Brogdon would've been a perfect fit next to Holiday.

From an outside I think Boston accents are WAY more pleasant than NYC folk. That accent reeks of ego

Also I’ve been to 3 games at the garden and didn’t hear one racist remark at all. I think Boston has the reputation now though if there’s one bad egg than all that players and fans will generalise that whole fan base, when in reality every single fan base has racist fans.
