Bad second quarter but an entire half to play to win this game. Where was the defensive foul on VanVleet when Curry just knocked him over? With about 53 seconds left until halftime. That was an obvious offensive foul on Curry. Refs missed that one. Steph hits a deep 3 soon after. I don't mind losing if it's fair. Refs still bail the Warriors out far too often for my liking.

They can turn it around in the second half. I had the Rockets in 5 but I have us losing Game 3 on the road. Losing Game 1 at home would be unacceptable. Could they still win this series after losing Game 1? Of course. But the margin for error would be gone. And they've got to win on the road. The degree of difficulty rises. Alperen Sengun getting into early foul trouble and Jalen Green scoring 2 points in the first half hasn't helped so far tonight.
