This makes no sense. Embiid needs someone else that is a capable scorer to take more shots, he has always needed that. Hence the frustration with Simmons who refused to shoot jumpers and didn't look to score all that much (Simmons took a career low 10.1 FGA per game last season).

The one losing touches and shot attempts will be Tobias, who won't need to try to be a #2 scorer and shot creator (which he's not). He's best served in that #3 role on a Championship team, hell maybe even #4 scorer role with the way Maxey is playing. Either way, it's great now that Embiid ACTUALLY has a legit #2 scorer.


Bulls couldn't stop Embiid before, now good luck stopping him with a legit PG who can drop 30 on your teams head with his eyes closed rofl.

Idk if any of y’all watched the pacers last couple games but I watched em all and Tristan Thompson looked like he can still fuckin BALL. And we just picked em up for size off the bench, could be a difference maker when Vuc is takin a break since tony Bradley and djj been kinda lackluster in scoring.
