good thing we gave away our 1st rounder for 2 months of him.
wizards have to match any offer for porter since they are gonna be over the cap anyways. may as well keep a young long 3 & D guy who has been improving every season. I mean porter made a pretty big leap this year, so who's to say he doesn't do the same next year.
unfortunately we were successful this season so that probably bought grunfeld another 10 years. we were only good because of wall, beal and porter, and they were all pretty much consensus picks taken at their positions in their drafts. i see analysts on espn actually crediting ernie for making a good team despite the fact that he trades 1st rounders for mediocre players and surrounded wall and beal with the worst bench in the league while somehow using all of our cap space to do so.
