He was absolutely locked in on D, and it was very very noticeable. He was kinda coasting through the regular season and focusing on his offensive game but last night he left absolutely everything out there

To be fair, Kyrie is blowing by almost any single player in the league. I can think of only a few that could stay in front of him on them posessions. Marcus Smart is probably one of them, Jrue holiday is another etc.

But hey, that’s the switching defense we play. All our players guard 1-5 at multiple times a game, at times there’s gonna be a slight mismatch and we will get torched for it, but over the course of the game it obviously works in our favour
