Imo there is a lot of hatred and pain behind that smiling face
This is the thread to do so
Nah, my hateful days are done. It's not that I've stopped thinking some players could use a good beating. I just don't feel the need to hate on them. I just wish they could be better people and better ambassadors of the game; and, better representatives of their organizations. If I spend time being bothered by them it detracts from my bigger desire to celebrate the good things the game has to offer.
I have a deep love of basketball and a pure, even if eccentric, way of seeing the game. That's where my energy is best spent. Also, with the exception of Ibaka, the Raptors make me proud (overall). Ibaka isn't so bad but he plays dirty and he has a reckless temper. There are some times I'd have a lot of trouble cheering for if they were my "home" team. And someday, I'm sure the Raptors will turn into a team like that. It goes around. That's when I'll probably just focus on a few players or something.
