Before I went to the bar, I went down to these pokestops along the Delaware river last night because all 3 had lures. There must've been 200 people there at midnightish. Shit was crazy. I just wanted to get some pokeballs and bounce but I ended up staying for almost an hour LOL

You realize nobody played with the cards when they were popular in the 90s?

Nobody is going to play with them now

whaaaat so many kids played <> they had like tournaments and shit. I just sat in school trading trainers, energies, and non holos for holos ripping kids off letting them think they good deals. 10 shit cards vs 1 holo t4t

basic charizards going for 200+ atm and will continue to rise with popularity gaining bc of this game and with more age ofc

I sold 2 charizards for ~$30 or $40 each a few months go that I found in a box of my common mtg cards.
They aren't anywhere near the price they used to be.. and Charizard is the only one that is even worth that, since it's a nostalgic collectors item.

People definitely played with the Pokemon cards where I was from. Pokémon was popular when i was in elementary and yugioh was popular in Jr high.

This. I think I was just at the right age for yu-gi-oh when the card game got popular vs the cards were popular before I hit the age where I could handle the complexity of it.... Even though it was simple.
