2bad!

but really.  If he wants money, he's got you guys.

If he wants to have fun and win, go to houston.

Sounds like he's made his choice.

But look at the bright side, won't you have cap space?

Who cares about capspace? Lebron's not going to LA

not until gasol is off the books. We are over, even if he leaves.

Trade us Aldridge, he doesn't want to be up in Portland haha

Let's see, apparently Howard's biggest beef is D'Antoni's system (I personally think it's being second star to Kobe, but whatever) which I agree is fucking stupid. How many times did he have 5 shot attempts or lower going into the second half? He tried to play a high octane (lol) offense with a relatively old team when he should have ran a very defensive-minded team centered on rebounding, ball control, etc.

I personally think these things will happen:

I. Dwight will leave.

II. D'Antoni's system will not work unless they lose Kobe/Pau and get a bunch of young blood in there to fast break the shit out of teams. This isn't necessarily good because they'll try to win 110-105 games every night. Accordingly he'll be fired and they'll look like the Celtics with less to deal as they rebuild from top to bottom.

III. With all the cap space they'll get from losing Kobe (hopefully not for a few years, though), Howard, and Pau they'll attract someone soon.

I have a ton of faith in this team and their management, they have too much money and recruiting power to remain shitty for very long.

What scares me is it took them three years to rebound from the last shitty years (back in 05-08 when we basically just had Kobe and a bunch of shit players, talk about a wasted prime for Kobe....)

Oh well.

The Lakers have won five titles that I was actually old enough to watch them win, which is more than most franchises so if they suck for a little bit I'm cool with that. I'd obviously like to see Kobe go out with a title but that's not gonna happen, he'll probably be an above average player for a few more years and hopefully they find a way to the post-season but it's not like they can compete with Memphis, Oklahoma City, Houston, etc.

Oh, I saw some article on facebook about the possibility of them making a push for Kyrie Irving in 2014, that'd be somethin'.

from the lakers twitter account
this better just be photoshopped, if they are doing this just to convince howard to stay that is just sad
lakers are at the point of begging a guy to stay -_-

@WojYahooNBA 36s
Kurt Rambis has emerged as a strong candidate to join Mike D'Antoni's coaching staff with the Lakers, league sources tell Y! Sports.
