man i hope we dont play OKC in the first round, they'll drain us out...
who holds the tie breaker between OKC and SA?
The Thunder but I don't see the Lakers being scared of anybody with their superstar loaded team. They were picked to reach the NBA Finals prior to this season starting. I think the Lakers can upset OKC in a first-round series. But obviously they'll have to steal a road game in the first two games. It's possible if you ride Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol inside the paint.
Steve Nash has to return and play heavy minutes and be a factor. He'll be unable to defend Russell Westbrook but he can work him on the offensive end and make threes. Same thing with Steve Blake. Just hit your threes and that's all you can ask for. The Lakers have the size inside to match up with the Thunder and Kobe can match Durant, point for point, all series long.
I don't think the Thunder want to play a healthy Lakers team in the playoffs. Metta World Peace may go crazy one last time and do something ridiculous to Kevin Durant. Perhaps an elbow to the throat, a WWE body slam takedown. He's going to find a way to get inside his head and play dirty.
The Lakers have all the tools a championship team needs. Granted, a couple guys are old and past their prime but I still expect Steve Nash to find the fountain of youth and elevate his game in the playoffs. This is the time to go all out.
