It may go down to the final two games of the season for the Lakers on April 14 and April 17. They host the Spurs and Rockets, who may or may not rest starters in that game. The only way the Spurs and Rockets will go "all out" to win those final two games is if they need a win to clinch the 1st seed and 6th seed respectively. And the way it looks it may come down to that which would be a tough break for the Lakers.

The Lakers will also play a hungry Warriors team on April 12. The Lakers have to beat the Hornets and Trail Blazers during their next two games. Because their final three games may turn out to mean something to their opposition. For so long it appeared those games would be meaningless and the other teams would be resting players.
