Ill take a TPE with a hope of netting a good player over Fournier who needs a new contract

Rather stand pat and do nothing than whatever the fuck this was

You'd rather take a TPE on someone over Fournier, who's a 20 PPG scorer that's virtually like a poor man's GH except:
Quote
Doesn't need the ball in his hands
Okay with being a 6th man or coming off bench
Wouldn't complain about his role
Allows Smart to either come off the bench, or start with the starting 5
Can score on 3 levels
Averages the most FTA on our team now
And probably had great discussions regarding extension in the off-season?

This move cost virtually nothing.
And it still gives us flexibility.

We're still over the hard cap, so any RFA being traded via S&T with Fournier's probably wouldn't work anyways unless we cleared space.

For those upset we didn't do shit and spent 2 2nd rounders:
Here's a quick list of the top of my head about 2nd rounders:
Ben Bentil
Jordan Mickey
Tremont Waters
Demetrius Jackson

Yea, I prefer having the opportunity to add better talent when the TPE was worth more in the offseason even if it meant netting nothing at the end
What's Fournier do for us this year? Not that it matters but the answer is probably a worst draft pick?

Safe to assume they have plans to sign him long term since they burned the TPE
What's he going to make?? He's getting 18 million now...Bogdan Bogdanovic got 72/4...I fail to see how Fournier doesn't get that or more consider he has been better. Both 28.

Fournier is the guy at 18-20 million we wanted to add to a core of Kemba-Smart-Brown-Tatum?
We going to have the highest paid 6th man again or will we have a bench with no offense?

I wanted big man help and to see Tatum and Brown play the 2-3
Tatum and Rob Williams as your 4-5 is going to look like the Grizzlies game come playoffs, so forgive me I hate them for adding another guy who wants to shoot the ball
Which big? Fuck if I know but they need a real 4 big time

And please don't tell me like I have been hearing from some people that he is here to "take pressure" off of Tatum and Brown....4 mouths to feed is already enough

Well Theis is gone because they weren't going to re-sign him with the log jam of undersized bigs + it opened minutes for Robert Williams

Fournier is obviously some firepower when he takes Semi and Grant Williams off the court. Those guys getting 30 minutes and producing nothing is quite painful....
Not a huge fan of the move at all though.

Timelord getting his first start of the year. Don't get too excited thinking he'll be starter moving forward because TT is obv the starter

It makes sense with Fournier hopefully starting as well because Rob has better chemistry with Pritchard and Smart anyways

With Fournier starting, it's going to give JB, JT and Kemba a little more space to operate and the usual kick out to a wide open Smart(because defenses collapse JB/JT) just might go in

As I've mentioned before, y'all spoiled as fuck.

I swear you guys have this infinite dislike for any move Ainge makes...

He's damned if he do, and damned if he don't.

Yeah, he shat the bed in not getting assets for them for our All-Stars/Mook/T-Roz/GH.

But it isn't like he tried hard to make them stay. Can you fault some dumb GM's?

Adding a 20 PPG scorer for virtually 2 2nd rounders?

That's a fucking no brainer, but half you armchair GM's think y'all are better than Ainge.

We literally needed just another scoring wing so our bench isn't completely shit. Damn one losing season and you guys act like this team is finished lol. The delusion is here is like doomers on Reddit.

Anyways.

Peace.

I've never, ever said anything negative about the org not being able to keep Kyrie, Hayward or Horford.
"That's a fucking no brainer, but half you armchair GM's think y'all are better than Ainge." I said both moves help the team. Mainly because the ceiling is raise with Timelord and Fournier takes away minutes from Semi/Grant. No Teague also opens up more for Pritchard....Are you sure it's not you that's not reading my posts?

You're telling me I am spoiled as a fan when I am asking for the team to delay the winning for an opportunity for better EVEN IF they strike out
Sounds completely the opposite imo.....
