Kobe is playing very well but they simply don't succeed when he scores a ton of points. I can't remember their success rate when he scores 40+ but it isn't very good. I'd prefer a more balanced team that centers on defense and rebounding to one like we run now.

If they went the entire season without injury problems between Nash, Pau and Howard they'd be around .500 still.

15-23 from the field, Lakers win.
13-24 from the field, Lakers lose.
12-28 from the field, (his only bad game while scoring 40), Lakers lose.
14-23 from the field, Lakers lose.
16-28 from the field, Lakers lose.
14-21, 11-22, Lakers win.

When Kobe's playing real good, the rest of the Lakers play real bad.
