How do you pick your games?
It's a LOT harder on these smaller schools that we know less about, which is why i don't go as big on those. I'm a lot better and reviewing the bigger programs since i watch a lot more of those games.
But, with the smaller programs there's a lot more error in the lines and opportunity to grab some easy ones. I mean UMass Lowell is a decent team and played relatively competitive against a top 25 team in Ohio State (lost by 10) so i didn't see them getting shit on by NC State by 30+ but that's the name of the game.
Being selective is key, looking at trends, where the money is going, play style, ATS record, etc, etc. Just so many different factors. The goal is to just win more money than I lose lol. If I start losing too much i'll shut it down for the season, i'm not out here to make a living off it just extra cash and have some fun in the process.
If you're talking NFL or NBA, sometimes it's a matter of deciding what the obvious pick is and going the opposite way when it seems too easy LOL. It's a fucking coin flip in the NFL anymore these days especially this late in the season when the lines are so tight.
