Also you can literally say the same exact thing about Kobe

If he was so innocent why did he settle

Why not go through court and prove his innocence

Do you see how dumb you sound?

Don't need to do anything if the accuser won't testify

Of course. She took her money and poofed.....

Why didn’t she testify? Dont tell me it might have been too much for her.....she didn’t because 1 slip up meant shed go to jail. Smart woman.

Anyone can point the finger

If something is settled out of court then the accuser wouldn't/couldn't testify

Scientifically proving a rape is a notoriously difficult task. With little evidence it pretty much comes down to a her word vs his scenario. Kobe would have had the best defense lawyers money could buy. Her $100/hr lawyer likely knew he/she was fighting a losing battle and told her to take what she can get and do her best to move on.

Not saying Kobe definitely did do it, but if it's settled out of court then there could be more to it. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire.

? I have no clue at all what you're saying
I didn't change my view at all

He plead not guilty after 1 year.....
As trial got close, their case got weaker so they dropped it...I mean ffs the accuser released a letter just weeks before trial about all her lies...her fucking roommate exposed her for who she was.
Her attorney also thought that a criminal trial would not end so well...

Kobe doesn't have to do shit if the accuser is unwilling to testify...

A lot of times, you settle to avoid the court circus. Guilty or not, a long, drawn out public hearing will do more damage to a person's career than an actual guilty verdict. She and her lawyers could paint him in any light, and it would have stuck to him, even if found not guilty, because society eats up tabloids line they're candy.

You avoid the circus, you get back to your life, your family isn't drudged through the muck of a high-profile, highly public court case with news cameras and reporters in their faces.

That being said, I'm not going to speculate on guilt or innocence. It's not my place, for one, but for two - he's dead. It does no one any good at this point.

I think Ramona Shellburne said it best when she said "it's just there. It's an uncomfortable mark that just sits there. You can't ignore it." I paraphrased because I forget the exact words she used this morning on espn
