The reason you can do this is because of law of proportions
For @-110 odds to tell you how much you'll win
(110/100) = (132.54/x)
Then cross multiply
110x = 13254
X= 120.49
Essentially dividing amount you want to bet by 1.1 in less steps
Just to expound the formula
(Odds of your bet/100) = (amount of your bet/amount won)
Make odds of your bet the denominator if + odds
With the above formula you can calculate how much you should bet to win a certain amount or how much you'll win if you bet a certain number
