I've seen many good replies in this thread but this sums up whole story.
It's true... speaking from my own experience with Ryan.
I also gave numerous people great odds on bets. All the time in fact. I probably lost a good share in bets to everybody. The same people saying I don't donate. I can check my logs and see several thousands going out to them on lost bets. If you win 30,000 off me on various bets why is that so different than a donation? Seems to me like people fail to see that I took plenty of risks and bet big millions of times.
But going back to the Ewok incident, this is the bottom line and I'm not going to discuss it any further.
I simply confirmed a 0 vs. 100 bet that was generously given to me on the Pelicans versus Hawks game, and cd'd to me (as an actual bet), and even stated within the cd that I'd be paid after that game on Monday Night. I was fully paid on Thursday morning. In those few days in between I had made seven other bets. On the seventh bet I lost, I fell behind what I owed. At that point I had to be paid already.
True, I could have handled it better but all I did wrong was try and speed up the process of being paid. I regret not just PM'ing Profar or somebody. I did PM Prone and Mangina. I needed 50 FG only. Not just the 85 or whatever it was I was still owed from Ewok.
I was put in a bad situation, PERIOD. I didn't feel right asking for a donation when I was still waiting on what Ewok said I could have on Monday Night after the game. I waited until Thursday morning for the full amount. The only responses I was given from him directly was an "Oops" reply and a "I'm sorry I bet 100 on another" game. Which he had bet on the Pacers game a night or two later.
I'm tired of people making dumb comments on here when I did the best I could.
