I'll say this again.

Corey started this 76ers discussion with "Maxey was the teams #4 guy" and lost all credibility from that point. If there is ever an indicator that someone doesn't know what they're talking about..well, that was it. Then he completely went off the wall when he said the Cavs are now a top 3 East team because they added Max Strus 😭

Miami was top 1 in East with max strus

Does it really change the fact that the 76ers got bounced in the 2nd round yet again? Maxey being #2 is a pretty absurd claim considering the volume Harden and Embiid got. At best Maxey was a third option and then you’re paying near max salary for a 4th option in Tobias

The roster is imbalanced no matter how you slice it and it seems clear they have no intentions of upgrading it this season. Huff your copium all you want but the 76ers are headed down the path to yet another 2nd round exit stage left

If Sixers lose early again then Embiid is GONE

Embiid seems like the kinda dude that would demand a trade to Miami too

Aren't you the one that hyped the Cavs last season as well? 🤣

They have the most unbalanced offense of any "contender" they have two bigs who can't space the floor for shit and neither are scorers. Mobley has "potential" but he's still a scrawny who gets bullied and looks scared in the playoffs. Their entire offense revolves around their two guards and no spacing elsewhere. I called it before the Knicks playoff series that they'd have trouble against the Knicks and look at what happened. They will be a good team as they were last year, but to call them a powerhouse in the East all of a sudden? Eh....

Claiming the Cavs are going to take some massive step forward after adding Georges Niang and Max Strus is quite the hot take rofl

They added shooting in the offseason

As I mentioned before, Maxey's USG was 24.1% and Harden's USG was 25.0%. For reference, Embiid's USG was 37.0%, and Tobias Harris was 18.2% (after being 23.1% the 3 seasons prior). It was pretty obvious who the top 3 dogs in Philly were all season lol.

But either way, you're talking as if this wasn't one of the best teams all season who went 7 games against Boston (the absolute worst matchup for the 76ers). It's not like this is a team who lost 4-1 in the first round to a team like the New York Knicks, like some other team in Cleveland did

If they had gotten smoked (like some weirdos here thought they would lmao) against Boston and lost in say 5 games it would be one thing. But with Doc "playoff lead blowing GOAT" Rivers running the show, they had Boston on the ropes up 3-2 with a game 6 in Philly and...well, blew it. Choked, etc. Now, that wasn't nearly as bad as a #1 seed losing to a #8 seed though, I mean that's all-time embarrassing rofl.

Mobley was 21 in that playoff series against the Knicks and he definitely was a bundle of nerves(and scrawny) Still Embiitch wasn’t even playing NBA playoff ball until he was 24 so idk what the expectations really are

I would be way more excited for the Cavs and even the Pacers than the fucking Sixers treadmill routine

Boston choked against Miami so is it really that crazy to say they also underperformed against Philly? Even with the Celtics playing like dogshit they still put away the 76ers so what does that say about them?
