Of course I want them to win the title and think it is conceivable but there's just too many teams that are far superior -- Thunder, Clippers, Nuggets, etc. If they gel and get hot going into the post-season they can take any team in the West, however.

realistically.. the only way they can hope to advance is to avoid the okc/denver part of the west bracket and hope they can end up playing SAS in rd1. i'm not saying sas is easy, but denver and okc would thrash the lakers in the first round, since they'd both have fresh legs and they both like to run (esp denver).

spurs and then clippers/grizzlies in rd2 would be nice, because okc and denver would tire each other out and give the lakers a chance to steal game 1.

i really want to believe in this team, but then they lose to my wizards and i'm just like.. wat.gif

I don't disagree with anything said here.

Spurs are a much better matchup than either Thunder, Nuggets or Clippers in the first round. Either the Thunder or the Nuggets could potentially sweep the Lakers :/.
