Yep, probably going to have to reschedule or wedding a year from now or some shit. No way they'll be able to find a date just a few months out, considering most good places get booked like a year or more in advance.

Sucks, because we literally just got everything setup and done and invites just went out like two weeks ago. Was finally looking forward to celebrating and then the honeymoon at a nice all inclusive resort in Mexico.

In addition, I'm taking my dog of 10 years who has bone cancer to be put down tomorrow, and I just had to lay off 5 people at my job today and of course I was the one that had to inform them.

might as well delay by 1 year. its the same in germany, they are just canceled things for "weeks". because thats what they do, instead of telling people this will likely NOT change for the rest of the year. its easier to tell people in few months everything will still be in the same stance lol

lets face reality, the virus isn't going to go away any time soon. if experts think you have to close schools, bars, restaurants, entire companies (volkswagen is from my region, and they literally stopped the entire production for now) etc. than you can probably expect the same stuff happening in 2 months. its going to drag out the entire calendar year, not even joking. with several countries going to go full lockdown at some point. there strategy is literally trying to prolong "the life time of the virus" to save lifes to limit the stress on the medical systems.
