Sounds like Ainge is a faggot then

He forgot to explain that Indy has to send some salary back to the Celtics to make it work. Thats mandatory for the Pacers.

Can’t Indy shed salary and then just sign Hayward outright without giving up two big pieces

But I said they have no cap and the trade would be for 2 players, obviously to match salaries.

Victor Oladipo 28 $21,000,000 $21,000,000 1st Round Pick $42,000,000
Malcolm Brogdon 27 $20,000,000 $20,700,000 $21,700,000 $22,600,000 Sign and Trade $85,000,000
Myles Turner 24 $18,000,000 $18,000,000 $18,000,000 $18,000,000 1st Round pick $72,000,000
T.J. Warren 27 $10,810,000 $11,750,000 $12,690,000 1st Round Pick $35,250,000
Jeremy Lamb 28 $10,500,000 $10,500,000

Look at the salaries

Cap is 115 and they are at 120 atm?

Would still have to move Turner and another, maybe a little more

I do love that the Celtics are asking for Dipo/Warren and Turner though LMAO

in theory they could. but thats not really feasible. they have the 6th highest payroll and aren't really close

detroit for example have 11 mill in cap space, they could make some moves to create more cap room. to sign wood for 15 mill or more.

sign-and-trade update. Hayward wants to play in Indiana. He's told the #Celtics
that.

IND offering Turner and McDermott

BOS wants Turner and Warren or Oladipo.

That's a big difference.

Pacers trade Oladipo + McDermott

Hayward signs for team friendly contract

Problem solved

Nah that’s just sheer lunacy. Hayward is not worth two big pieces in no fucking circumstance

Knicks, Pistons, Hornets, Hawks and Cavs are all players in the open market

Pacers making trades with other isn't really an option since they wouldn't be able to take salary back and still have to move the same number/level of the pieces the Celtics are asking for

I agree LOL

As I said, Turner is enough for me

Then my guess is the Pacers will bow out. Warren alone is worth more on a team friendly deal. They can make trades with other more reasonable teams
