Ainge gotta go, he's been here 17 years... orchestrated the initial big three which was great but those roster had holes leading to only one championship. Absolutely fleeced the Nets and got so many assets, but way too many of those assets were held onto and in a sense wasted. They've made more picks than anyone in the past ~10 years with not a lot to show for it besides guys at the top who you'd expect to hit on. Ainge gets amazing value on trades, no denying that, but the hesitancy to trade unless the trade is so lopsided in your favorite is a problem.
Thankful for the one championship, but with all of the talent we've had over the years, we should have more than just one.
I lol'ed. Other than Mike Zarren/Buford, and maybe a few select other GM's, Ainge is one of the best. You're tripping and acting like every other overreactive Reddit Celtic fan. Patience is the key.
For all intents/purposes the GSW only won 2 rings with the KD/Dray/Steph/Klay team. Winning championships are hard as fuck, people act like you can put all the talent in the world on a team, and it looks good on paper, but we've been fooled by roses gold before.
The reason why you have so many shitty franchises that are overpaying or cap locked to mediocrity like the Pistons finally just paying off Smith's contract even though he hadn't been on the team since 2015. We're actually pretty lucky, but we cannot keep pushing back moves. We need to eventually start making clear choices for what our roster outlook will be.
I think we should also keep a eye out for Donovan Mitchell.
