That seems like crazy money versus his inconsistency as a player this year. He's done a little better as of late, but I think nearly everyone was expecting a better return from him.
Ummm what?....
You guys are all fucking tripping, I'm serious..
Fun fact: Hayward is two 3PM and five FTs from being a 50/40/90.
Career highs in FG%, eFG, and true shooting % at 60%, which is the highest other than Theis. If he drove to the line similar to his Jazz days, 37% FT rate (he's at half of that,) he'd be averaging 20 PPG on 65% T/S, the most efficient 20+ in the league.
He's hitting 49% from mid range, 39% 3P and 43% from corners, and absolute staggering 70% INSIDE 2-5 feet...

Miles ahead of last year's season, but still nothing compared to before his injury occurred. I don't disagree he has had a few standout games and a handful more where he was an efficient team player - but it's too inconsistent, he'll go 2-3 weeks with no beneficial performances and when I see them paying him 30-32 a year I also see how that money could be spent on 1-2 other players who could benefit the team at a higher level.
Not to come off as an asshole, but how many games have you actually watched from the Celtics?
