If that were the case, anyone at any point could pull the "mental health" card and get paid and not have to fulfill their contractual obligation.
The fact that he has been demanding a trade all off-season and held out early on in order to force a trade gives it away....it's too late to pull the "mental health" card now lol, everyone already saw his intentions.
The only updates the organization is required to receive to confirm the "mental health" card
- Ben is receiving this style of therapy for [insert diagnosis]. He is coming for the recommended number of treatments per week. The recommendation not to play is still in effect.
That's all the information he is required to give. Article said he was seeing NBAPA mental health professionals so I’m sure he is getting help.
