Yahoo Sources: The Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic had discussed a trade featuring Russell Westbrook for a package centered around Aaron Gordon, but talks never progressed.

Oh my goodness. While I'd prefer Julius Randle and future first-round draft picks from the Knicks. I wouldn't be terribly upset with Aaron Gordon. I'm still open to a Russell Westbrook for John Wall swap if the Wizards offer some first-round picks. I'm "all in" trading Russell Westbrook. Just a matter of finding the right deal. I honestly thought Russ would've been traded on draft night. I guess it's going to take some time. He'll be traded before Harden, in my opinion.

A Russell Westbrook for Blake Griffin swap wouldn't be a terrible trade for the Rockets if the Pistons attach a future first-round pick. Blake Griffin only has two years left on his contract. He's going to be a valuable expiring contract next year. He could be flipped again for even more assets.

At some point the Rockets have to make their move and start their inevitable rebuild plan. Try to get the best you can for Harden, Westbrook and Gordon. There's no right or wrong way to do this. You just have to go for it and move on. The worst thing we can do is to try and rebuild the trust with those players. It's gone already. This feels like a bad marriage that is lingering. Waiting for the divorce.

Daryl Morey left because he knew this was a sad and frustrating situation. He didn't want to be a part of a hectic rebuild.

Indiana continues to explore sign-and-trade pathways to try acquire Gordon Hayward from Boston, league sources say

The Knicks, as covered here yesterday, remain a suitor for Hayward with their salary-cap space

Can you please just answer one question for me. Which teams in the Western Conference do you believe can beat the Lakers in a seven-game series? People are hyping up the Suns like Chris Paul is guaranteed to stay healthy all year long at 35 years old. His lingering hamstring issues could always resurface and become a problem. The Clippers and Rockets, sadly, are more paper champs than actual champs. The Nuggets and Jazz are always good but never championship caliber. The Warriors will be interesting to watch. I like the Pelicans and Grizzlies but they're still a couple years away.

He wants to go to Indy and Indy wants him but Ainge def asked Indy for more than what they were offering since he knows they can’t acquire him through FA

Ainge knows Hayward was gone either way, so he is forcing Indy to overpay or daring Hayward to go play for the Knicks, Hawks, Pistons or Hornets

Greed could pay off but since he is out, Ainge isn’t going to help him either

Can’t wait for this shit to end

Im sure those teams will offer him that
