The Houston Rockets have won five games in a row and are back in the 3rd seed just like that.
Only one game back of the Nuggets for the 2nd seed. With Amen Thompson nearing a return.

And the Rockets still play the Nuggets twice and Lakers twice down the stretch. 2nd seed is ours if we want it.
Not to mention the Rockets may have the 1st overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft June 25 if Suns win the lottery.

I've gotten less interested in a trade for 28-year-old superstar Devin Booker this summer. Let me tell you guys why.
Jalen Green is 23 and 5 years younger. Jalen just outplayed Booker two games ago. Patience will win out with Jalen.

Also I'm on the fence with Kevin Durant. I'd love to add him this summer. Not wanting to gut the roster for him since he's older.

The Rockets should keep all the Suns unprotected first-round picks in 2025 (swap), 2027 and 2029. Those are pure gold.
See if the Hornets make 23-year-old LaMelo Ball available. He'd be a young all-star point guard that fits our youthful timeline.

I don't just want the Houston Rockets to win another NBA Finals for the first time since 1995. I want to have a dynasty that wins 5 or 6 NBA Titles.

I hate back to backs. No excuses but the Rockets are missing 7 players tonight including Amen Thompson, Tari Eason (30 last night) and Cam Whitmore. And the baby Bulls just don't go away. 102-98 Rockets with 4:43 left. Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet all have over 20 points. The Rockets should be spanking the Bulls despite tired legs on a back to back. They're young! But a lot of guys are out. This is the type of game they have to win if they want the 2nd seed in the West. Otherwise we're going to be the 5th or 6th seed.

Keep scoring Jalen Green! Rockets are 9-0 this season when he scores 30 points or more.
He's got 25 points. Rockets lead 109-105 with 2:33 left. Jeez. Just give Jalen the ball now.
Lately Jalen Green is scoring 25 to 28 points. He needs that Mamba mentality. Score 30+!!

Rockets win 117-114. They made key plays down the stretch despite not having the Terror Twins. We win easily with Amen Thompson and Tari Eason.

Jalen Green finished with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Alperen "baby Jokic" Sengun had 24 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals. Fred VanVleet added 23 points and 7 assists. The Rockets haven't lost since he returned from injury. He's an NBA champion and knows what it takes to win. Having a guy like FVV will be huge once the playoffs begin. Because he's got that championship DNA as a point guard. While the rest of the team will be mostly young guys playing in the playoffs for the first time.

Rockets are 43-25 and have won six games in a row! And the Rockets host the 76ers on Monday. A chance for seven in a row.

They keep the 3rd seed and remain in position to pass the Nuggets for the 2nd seed when they play two times down the stretch.

Wow guys. I fell asleep and the Nuggets lost 126-123 at home to the lowly 14-51 Wizards. Despite Jokic scoring 40 points.

The Houston Rockets are now back in the 2nd seed in the Western Conference. Going for seven wins in a row tomorrow night vs. the 76ers.

But the 2nd seed is going to come down to the Rockets having four games left vs. the Nuggets (twice) and Lakers (twice).

The Mavericks are in a close game with the 76ers midway in the 3rd quarter right now. Dallas was in danger of having to forfeit this game. They didn't have enough active players and had salary cap limitations. Thankfully they pieced together enough healthy bodies and played today's game. I want a tired 76ers team arriving in Houston for a back-to-back tomorrow night. The Rockets will try to beat the 76ers tomorrow night for seven wins in a row. Hopefully the Rockets will keep their foot on the gas and spank the 76ers by 20 or 30 points.
