The Sixers have released Norvel Pelle.

Based on what Daryl Morey said last night, I think this could signal some creative "backup center" lineups. It's clear the Sixers have intent to sign a backup center once FA kicks off.

A whole lot of mid-level exception centers available, they're looking to upgrade that backup center spot and i'm pretty sure Nerlens Noel is going to be one of the most likely candidates to fill that role. Bring #4 back to Philly baby

some bigs on the market:

Noel
Jamychal Green
Kaminsky
T. Thompson
Dedmond (if waived or bought out)
Gasol
Baynes
Cauley-Stein
Leonard
Olynyk

Nerlens Noel is 26 years old. 6'10 and an athletic gem. Why has his career not panned out? Should've been an all-star at the very least.

Offensive game sucks, he's a stiff offensively.

Athletic as fuck and a great shot blocker though. He's a true rim runner.

If the Rockets sign Nerlens Noel is it worth buying his jersey on-line? Have you given up on him completely? Can he still become an all-star?

He is a mediocre role player at best, like most former Sixers

Baynes > Noel imo

For the Sixers Baynes gives them a different look. Stretch 5 working better with Simmons, when Embiid is resting.

how are you rooting for a small market team being treated unfairly? both of the teams want the deal

you keep thinking everyone s on the exact same moral compass as yourself.

Whats funnier, the fact that Tobis Harris plus a pick is worth Seth Curry, or that Seth Curry is worth more than a player currently signed to a 180 mil contract.

10 years ago today on November 20, 2010.
Blake Griffin with the poster of all posters!

Blake Griffin is my favorite non-Rockets player. I wouldn't mind if the Rockets traded Russell Westbrook for Blake Griffin if the Pistons attached a future first-round pick to the deal. Blake only has two years left. He'll be a very nice expiring contract next year. A lot of flexibility there if he can regain some of his past all-star ability. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat if Blake still had half of his elite athleticism from those days. He was showtime, baby!

I still have this dream that Blake Griffin is going to buy me a pair of sneakers. LOL
