just saw the DM post, fuckin rofl

the challenge of trolling on here makes it enjoyable, but sometimes you can't help but love the level of triggering you can get out of simpletons

I laughed for like 10 minutes straight, couldn't even be offended by the guys response to me.

It was like a copy pasta i'd see on here, i thought for a second he could be trolling but he was dead serious.

Bragged about being military for 30 years defending the Country and freedom, etc. in the same paragraph he goes full homophobia.

Surprised he didn't get racist, I'm sure that would have happened had I been black.

Typical boomer.

How is it looking in all of your states?

I was in Vegas when this whole thing started and flew back to NY (not the city) two days ago. A completely different look to how things are being handled.

Vegas was starting phase one of opening and NY is still stay at home and was pushed back to June.

MD is on lockdown. Won't come off lockdown until 14 consecutive days of declining cases.

Our state is handling things pretty well though. Helps that our state has more revenue to work with than poorer states that need to rely on federal aid.

My wedding is supposed to be in Maryland, originally was supposed to be last week but had it rescheduled to mid July. About 150 people, not looking promising.

At this point I doubt it's going to happen in July too. Might just end up postponing it a full year sadly.

Few friends of mine also had to postpone weddings, they eventually opted for a full year away. Better, gives you time to have second thoughts. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

But anywhos, you guys don’t like my thoughts on this COVID situe so I’ll see my way out lmao.

I have to credit our governor, Larry Hogan. Despite being a republican, he actually listened to science, took the COVID epidemic seriously, prepared for it ahead of time, and is resisting the urge to lift the quarantine prematurely. My county in particular is way below average in infection rate, although it's also more rural, which helps.

But yeah, since Hogan is taking things seriously, it does not bode well for your wedding in July. Serves you right for not inviting me tbh.

Make him lift the quarantine by July and you're in.
