I think it is a bit redundant to move forward with Tatum, Brown, and Hayward. My guess is that Ainge will try to trade one, but as we know Ainge only trades if he can fleece another GM.
Why would Ainge trade his best playmaker who provided tons of length and versatility? This team needs Hayward.
We don’t need a big. Robert Williams is Clint Capela 2.0. He isn’t as good at rebounding, but much more athletic and way better with his hands on both offense and defense(talking bout year 2 Capela). I’ll gladly wait for this guy to develop. There is no need to burn valuable assets for a big. The future is Tatum and Brown, not whatever this is atm.
Kanter for scoring and rebounding.
Williams for change of pace or when teams go very small.
Theis starting C. His team defense is impressive. His spacing also really helps the offense.
As the season moves on, hopefully Williams starter with Kanter-Theis off the bench. Work very well together.
Kemba-Smart-Hayward-Tatum-Brown is our closing 5. We haven’t even been able to go to it due to Jaylen being out, but until that shot fails big time, I see no reason to waste pieces for a big.
If there’s a franchise player available, go ahead and make that hsppen.
But move JB+Smart or Hayward for a big like Adams? Lmao
