The good news is the Heat are collapsing big time.

9-12 in their last 21 games. 3-7 in their last 10.

The bad news is the 76ers are also about to Collapse

The Sixers are currently 27-2 at home (93.1%) and 9-21 on the road (30.0%). It is the highest differential (in win % between home and away) in franchise history (the 1952-53 Sixers finished the season 94.1% at home and 33.3% on the road), and the 7th highest in NBA history. It's the highest differential since the NBA implemented the 82 game season.

League record belongs to the 1954-55 Celtics, who finished the season 21-5 (80.8%) at home and 4-22 (15.4%) on the road.

Glenn Robinson III: "When you come here and your role’s not really explained or you don’t know what’s going on with the trade...I don’t really understand it."

Getting increased visibility on a playoff team* would be a good thing for him, but the opportunities were never going to be the same. The trick for Robinson III was always going to be translating that production and proving he could do it on a team with expectations, rather than on a lottery-bound team with a need for anyone to step in and take opportunities. As of this writing, he has made exactly zero of his three-point attempts in a Sixers uniform, which is also hilarious in its predictability.

*I initially wrote "contender" here and then laughed to myself at the thought of this group contending in its current state.

Sixers are first team in NBA history to lose 7 straight road games by double digits while having a winning record 😳

Time to give the front office some praise, with all of the things people question them about here's one positive that has really flown under the radar...

Before the season, the Sixers signed Shake Milton to a 4 year contract (the final year being a team option). $1.4M this season, $1.7M next season, $1.8M in 2021/22 and $2M in 2022/23 (team option). The guy had only played in 20 NBA games last season as a rookie, and only averaged 13 minutes per game in those 20 games. He also played in the G-League as he was on a 2-way contract as a rookie.

Milton's role this season was a bit inconsistent with Simmons and Richardson eating most of the minutes in the backcourt, although he has shot very well (47% FG and 43% 3pt).

Lately he has been balling out though, and with Simmons injury it has allowed us to truly see what he can do. It's pretty obvious the Sixers have found their backup PG, and that long term contract they signed him to could end up being an absolute steal for a rotation guy that can be a serviceable backup guard.

Over his last 15 games (since he started getting real playing time consistently) he's averaging 11/3/3 in 23.8 minutes per game on 51% FG (7.4 FGA per game) and 51% 3PT (on 3.8 attempts per game).

Last 4 games: 16/4/3 on 60% FG and 71% 3PT (on 5.3 attempts per game).

Kid has game, and the front office knew it and locked up him up long term for peanuts when they had the chance.

Shake Milton aka the new diamond in the rough.. get a load of this lmao

Don’t you get sick of buying into the hype of any Sixers player who shows a glimpse of hope?

I mean that's kind of how it works brotatochip, you know constantly trying to find new pieces and new players that fit the system.

Finding guys early on, lock them up at good prices, working within the salary cap. Especially when you have four players on $100M+ contracts.
