You seem to forget what MVP stands for...
The same reason Steph shouldnt have won the regular season MVP, he shouldn't win the finals MVP.
It's not the "best player on the best team award." But somehow it seems to be getting skewed that way.
Usually in the finals there's a 2 comparable players though, so it's easy to give it to the player from the winning team... This year the gap from Lebron to the next closest player is huge.
