RIP this team wow

At least they have money for a max guy but god knows what they'll do with it.

/e dream scenario now... sign Kemba Walker (or DLo)... trade Hayward + picks to the Rockets for Capela.

Walker (or DLo) - Brown - Tatum - (Insert a PF) - Capela

That's like best case scenario... or they sign a Cousins to a huge deal (or Vucevic or Randle) and then trade Hayward to the Grizzlies with the picks for Conley and you could have one of:
Conley - Brown - Tatum - (Insert a PF) - Cousins
Conley - Brown - Tatum - (Insert a PF) - Vucevic
Conley - Brown - Tatum - Randle - Baynes

All fairly good scenarios tbh, but doesn't change the fact you left us high and dry mid reset run when we desperately needed your auras.

If Hayward doesn’t return to form next season then the team is in huge trouble, not to mention they still don’t have a viable way of starting all three of Brown, Tatum and Hayward. Instead of another season of Hayward poorly performing and eating the minutes of our two young guys who need to play, the Celtics HAVE to make a move to get out from under that contract and fill one of the center or point guard positions that are now open.

If the Celtics go into the season and have Hayward coming off the bench that’s a ridiculous contract for a sixth man, if they bench Brown or Tatum then it’ll crush team chemistry again. If they start all three and play Tatum at the 4 then Tatum is going to get eaten alive on defense and it’s even worse because our best center is currently Baynes so it’s even harder to play Tatum at the 4.

Hayward really wasn't who the Celtics should have gone after. They had Tatum who played the same position and is already a better player, not to mention brown. I think Brad Stevens had a little too much pull with his fan boy.

Yikes, this does not look good for Boston, who would want to go there now?

https://twitter.com/damanr/status/1141893784684249088?s=21

TLTR: Baynes opt in only because Danny Ainge said he wouldnt get traded, After Kyrie and Al Horford seem to be going into FA and not staying with Boston, Baynes and Danny wanted to get Baynes on a Contender, Baynes gets traded to Suns. Rumors were Suns were going to buyout Baynes but Suns confirm they plan on sticking with Baynes.

IT Curse is making Danny Ainge a Mad Man, so bloodthirsty to get cap space he is completely ignoring loyalty which you guys claim to have
