I'm talking this season. Now. Not previous years.

Embiid already won MVP. He already wins the scoring title every season. He has nothing else to prove during the regular season. He is the best and there's no one on this planet that can stop him in the regular season. It's now ALL about playoffs. He even said himself recently that he's prioritizing health for the playoffs over any regular season awards.

As a 76ers fan watching him win MVP again would be great, but we will take him playing healthy and great in the playoffs over that any day right now lol


Edit: if he was playing through injuries to avoid missing games so he could be eligible to win an award, people would be calling him out for it. He can't win the haters over either way. The hate narrative every season changes. Just always something to hate Embiid about. Especially Corey.
