30 and doesn't seem like the same player he was before his injury

Saying he has nothing left in the tank is extreme though, he definitely still has game but i don't think we'll see pre-injury Hayward again.

Agreed, not the same player and the max contract is extremely unappealing, but if he does opt out and he can get signed at a more reasonable value, he could be a key contributor on many teams.

I mean he only has one year remaining, if he even decides to opt into it.

But like just said, his actual production was pretty good considering, especially with so many good wing players on the same team. 17.5 PPG, 6.7 REB, 4.1 AST on 50/38/86 is pretty on par with what you'd expect from him playing next to three other All-Star caliber players.

If he goes to NY he'll probably be dropping 20 a game again. I don't think he's as explosive as he was, and his drives have cut down dramatically but again that might be a result of the offense he was playing in with a lot of mouths to feed.

He’s not as explosive, but he’s still crafty as fuck and can slide into the lane pretty easily. He’s a super underrated player now and if it weren’t for the max contract, every single team in the league would be inquiring about him.

I agree with that.

He has a lot of interest as it is already.

Of course you would agree with it. Not a single wrong word ever comes out of my mouth.

LOL if he declines 34 million. Be like Conley declining his. Never. Hayward knows he ain’t got shit left in the tank.

I’m more talking about the 34 million dollars bro. Lol. He’s not the same player he was. He is not getting 34 million from any other team.

Let’s be honest, MOST of his missed games in the last 3 years have come from freak injuries. Broken leg and ankle, sprained ankles and of course the one hamstring, which is the only one of his career.

The guy is due for a run of good luck. He’s quite easily the Celtics best all-round player when he’s in form and healthy.
