Quote (Giannis @ May 7 2019 08:02am)
I've been saying all year long that Kyrie is not a true #1 and his attitude is super toxic. Morris and Kyrie had constantly drawn from the "young guys don't know how to win" well to defer the blame. Never heard that from Horford, he was the real MVP of that team. Anyways the point is that if you're constantly putting down your teammates, is it really a surprise that you don't play for each other? a guy who doesn't take accountability for his own mistakes, doesn't take leadership to correct the problems upon himself, and the first thing he wants to talk about is fouls and getting more shots.... it's abundantly clear that Kyrie is not fit to be the guy EVEN on a team loaded with talent. now pair him with somebody who is a real #1 like Davis and maybe you've got something. the Celtics treasure chest is looking a lot smaller at seasons end compared to the start of the season. they'll have to give up at least 2 of Tatum/Smart/Brown and picks to get AD. Pelicans won't even consider Rozier or Hayward. Maybe Morris could be a part of the deal
Unfortunately, it seems like you've been right. I've been defending Kyrie and his weird ass intellectual quotes, and trying to come off as a 'genius,' but I have had enough. Unless we get Davis, I don't see much hope for Kyrie, unless he bolts. Either way, kudos to the Bucks, good job, and good luck. I may be upset we lost, but other than the Bucks, I would have rather have Giannis win over Ben 'Can't shoot outsid 3 feet,' Simmons or Joel Embiid lol.
Anyways good luck gentlemen, see ya in a few months.
