At least Brown got them to the second round of the playoffs.

Realistically they could have beat the Thunder too but they just closed games out too well.

EDIT -- This is tens times harder (losing all these games, I mean) because of all the hype and excitement I had after all the moves.

EDIT II -- Okay, so according to ESPN they are 2nd in the league in scoring and average 101.7 points per game (good for 7th in the league) versus 99.5 points they allow per game (good for 22nd in the league). So they score more than their opponents, on average, and they are excellent at rebounding and still they have this shitty record...

That has to give us hope. They are killing themselves with the turnovers. I still have faith they go on a run at one point and get back in the green.

it's still early in the season, and nash hasn't had real court time with the team yet.

all a team really needs to do is make it into the playoffs and hit their stride. sure, being a top seed is beneficial most of the time, but it's also based on matchups in-game and if the lakers correct their mistakes, they'd be a real tough ~mid seed.

anything could happen... lots of time remaining.

I really do want to see what happens when they get Nash, Gasol and Blake back. I remember Nash had a lot of turnovers so if he continues on that trend the team is still fucked.

Could be a fun team to watch even if they don't do very well.
