Gz on the heat win man

Glad somebody came out on top tonight

How do you do those open ended teasers though? Seems like it would be fairly easy to cash, picking like 1 team per day to add a good 10 points to their spread each day.

Patience is definitely key, and you have to pick your spots situationally

Out of the 15 legs i only took 3-4 heavy favorites, like patriots -2 vs redskins , spurs over charlotte, warriors -2.5 vs pistons and heat -1 vs lakers today.

but the thing is i made sure those teams werent on a look-ahead type of scenario or on a back to back. also not having a game the next day helps to ensure that they will be focused on that game.

for the warriors / pistons game it was obvious to me that the warriors would cover -12 because detroit was on fire and the public thought they even had a chance to win straight up. giving detroit 12 whole points in that situation vs ANYONE seemed ridiculous to me.

for some reason today the public was all over the lakers and heat line stayed at -11. for the spurs, i felt comfortable taking them vs charlotte in that spot because they were coming off a loss and didnt have a game the next day, so i knew they'd put forth their best effort.

like proint said he did the same teaser and lost on the bulls as -10 favorites vs minnesota. dont just take -10 favorites without looking at the situation. these guys are professionals but motivation is a huge factor. i nearly lost on the warriors > kings because i forgot to account for the fact that nobody is going to get up to play the kings. that game was so ugly. especially vs a kings team with no demarcus/collison.

most of those plays were rlm, and with the +13 fb and +10 bb its almost impossible to lose when you are able to read the situation and combine it with a rlm play

feel so bad that the raps screwed everyone over today. and then the refs blow a huge call like that. just unbelievable.

ive been on the wrong end of that type of stuff for the past 2 weeks. you literally wouldnt believe the bad beats ive experienced lately

proint had to talk me out of a few plays that wouldve ruined the teaser. funny thing is he talked me out of taking Bucs +13 (with the +13 from teaser) vs the giants, they were down 8 with 20 seconds left and tried the lateral play and it ended up in a giants touchdown to end the game rofl. bucs lost by 14 and i wouldve been pissed

anyway, basketball is looking good right now. i see some nfl plays this weekend as well

Don't know but I'm going to start giving injuries more weight in my decisions. Still got robbed though.

Indeed. Carroll was injured but they still should have won. Man that bugged me so bad last night  . Would've been up big last night if they won.

Not much you can when a team gets lucky. Knicks got that end of the 3rd quarter 3, which ended up being the difference. And Lance Thomas hit 3 out of 3. He had shot 4 on the year and made 2 coming into the game. And then the Melo out of bounds bullshit. We were screwed for sure. It's going to take me a while to get over that one.
