Would you guys rewatch it more than 1 time in the future?

Maybe once to watch it with someone who hasn’t seen it. Would not want to watch it much more than that

The Philadelphia references, the people and players in it are cool. It isn’t bad it’s just a predictable sports movie

Coach Carter is great, but it's also ALL actors and no real professional athletes.

Hustle is mostly relying on current or former athletes for many of the main roles. That's a bit tougher but also cool to watch for NBA fans or basketball fans in general.

Here's a list of all the players, coaches, front office, etc, who make an appearance or have a role in the movie:

Current or former NBA players who have an actual character name and role other than playing themselves:

Juancho Hernangomez (as Bo Cruz)

Anthony Edwards (as Kermet Wilts)

Boban Marjanović (as Big Serbian Center)

Kenny "The Jet" Smith (as Leon Rich)

Current NBA players who play themselves:

Tobias Harris (Philadephia 76ers)

Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks)

Seth Curry (Philadelphia 76ers at the time)

Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers)

Kyle Lowry (Miami Heat)

Jordan Clarkson (Utah Jazz)

Aaron Gordon (Denver Nuggets)

Matisse Thybulle (Philadelphia 76ers)

Moe Wagner (Orlando Magic)

Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks)

Luka Dončić (Dallas Mavericks)

Willy Hernangomez (New Orleans Pelicans)

Former NBA players or well known names:

Julius “Dr. J” Erving

Allen Iverson

Shaquille O’Neal

Charles Barkley

Dirk Nowitzki

Jose Calderon

Leandro Barbosa (Golden State Warriors)

Emeka Okafor (New Orleans Pelicans)

Matt Geiger (Philadelphia 76ers)

Bill Duffy (Denver Nuggets turned agent)

Billy King (former player, Philadelphia 76ers team president, now on 94 WIP radio show in Philadelphia)

Felipe Reyes (former Spanish player)

Well known basketball coaches or other names:

Mark Jackson (former Golden State Warriors coach)

Doc Rivers (Philadelphia 76ers head coach)

Jay Wright (Villanova University head basketball coach)

Brad Stevens (former Celtics head coach and now President of operations)

Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavs owners)

Dell Demps (Utah Jazz assistant coach)

Sergio Scariolo (Spain national team)

Dave Joerger (Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach)

Peter Dominguez (Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach)

Maurice Cheeks (Chicago Bulls assistant coach)

Bobby Verdun (Salem State head coach)

Aaron McKie (Temple University head coach)

Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews (shooting coach)

Other basketball players outside of the NBA:

Elvin Rodriguez (college basketball)

Mike Foster Jr. (NBA G League)

Alex Abrines (FC Barcelona)

Pierre Oriola (FC Barcelona)

Grayson “The Professor” Boucher (streetball)

Aaron “AO” Owens (streetball)

Larry “Bone Collector” Williams (streetball

Lonnie “Prime Objective” Harrell (streetball)

Waliyy “Main Event” Dixon (streetball)

Mike James (former NBA player)

Zalia Avant Garde (basketball player)

I mean a lot of them don't say shit or do much outside of play basketball, maybe a line or two for some of them.

But overall it was put together pretty well considering they aren't professional actors lol
