I couldn't believe it man. People all gathered around and my wife was jumping up and down...lol then the casino big wigs came and put like crime scene tape around the machine and had my wife and I come with them. They put us up in a suite overnight and they checked the machine and the tape to make sure I didn't cheat and I filled out the paperwork the next morning and got paid out. I was basically in shock and disbelief until I got cash in hand. Then I was nervous driving home 4 hours with that much cash on me even though I had a gun...lol

So you hit for $264k on the machine but they took out over 60% in taxes? Jesus

I got to keep 60%, The State revenue service and game the state gaming commission got 40%. The took like 105k and I got 158k. At the time they asked do you want taxes taken out and the rest in cash and I was like hell yes gimme the pile of cash. My accountant said she could have gotten me a lot more if we just claimed it at the end.

That's what I told the accountant, I'm never going to hit like that again. It's a once in a lifetime thing if your lucky, and I'm not particularly lucky to start with. I have been going to the casino since I was 18 and I'm 46, and the most I ever won at one time was like 2500 once and 1000 another time. The rest are all like 300-500 wins, but generally I lose all the money I put into those damn slot machines.
