I'm aware of that stat, but just to be clear that stat is arrests not convictions...

And we know black people are always target #1 when looking for suspects.

Not to bring things back to the beginning of the topic, but Stephen A is a sensationalist. I don't think he hates white people. And I agree with the proint that you can't be racism toward whites. Racism is part of systematic oppression. Someone who is "racist" toward whites is just ignorant--not truly racist.

I don't think hiring Nash was a racial move. I think he has tons of leadership experience, a proven record as a player (he's not even an elite athlete and he won MVP), and a very high basketball IQ. Plus, from what I can tell, he's a good guy.

racism is mistreatment of someone based on their skin color, or belief of superiority over someone based on skin color, and everyone can do these things

There are differing definitions of 'racism'. That one isn't helpful because it's disempowering. There's a huge difference between ignorantly bashing someone because he or she is white, and being racist. If you'd feel more comfortable saying that some racism is not oppressive and some is oppressive, that's fine with me, but it misses the entire point of racism, which is about race and racialism and oppression, and not individuals who occupy a race.
