Does it really matter that much to you?

It's just a number.

RIP Kobe, From the home of the Portland Trailblazers

Changed the colors to purple and gold tonight.

Something you’ll never see again in a million years. He truly was one of the best to ever fuckin do it.

I'm really torn here

I grieve way more for his daughter and the others on the plane.

Kobe was a legend on the court, but we forgot who he was off the court

He literally raped a 19 year old girl. He strangled her.

We cant just forget this because he died.

Not sure now is the time to bring up the fact he is a rapist....especially considering his daughter died also.

I used to call him a rapist daily On these forums back in the day....but Just time to have Respect for now.

That's why I'm torn

Do we give respect to rapists?

I didnt care when Hernandez died (murderer)

I don't recall ever feeling sympathy when a rapist has died.

I'll agree about his daughter

@jasonbaumgartne
Kobe's death has caused a massive surge in Twitter traffic. Currently there are over 250 tweets per second related to Kobe. This is the highest amount of traffic I've seen on Twitter for an event. Still collecting data. (incomplete data)

Kobe just broke the twitter record and also Weibo (Chinese twitter).
So you're right, no one cares about a "rapist".

No?

I just dont idolize people based on their skills. I judge them based on who they were both on and off the court
