Pistons 10-3, 5th in ESPN’s latest power rankings.
Not sure if we’re going to be able to maintain this success though tbh, I’m predicting a 4-6 record over our next 10 games. Still a nice start to the season and if we can even look remotely as good as we have so far for the rest of the season we should be looking at a top 5 seed in the East.
Hope we can continue to develop Kennard, he looked stellar against the Heat yesterday. Love that we brought back Tolliver this offseason and continuing to love Ish off the bench. Bradley is a better fit than I originally thought he would be and we definitely don’t seem to be missing KCP which I anticipated we would, so I’m happy about that.
Our second unit is probably one of the biggest reasons we’ve had so much success this season, as well as a return to a team offensive approach and a renewed focus on the defensive end.
Drummond developing his playmaking ability has also been a nice surprise, as well as his free throw shooting, though that seems to be regressing back to the norm. Honestly if he can stay above 50% from the line I’ll be happy.
