I've seen Balluh around a couple of times but I don't think he comes to this side of the forum anymore. I have no idea what happened to ThatAlex, he disappeared.

The Houston Rockets got outplayed tonight by a better team with more heart. Good game Portland, you guys deserved to win. Harass, CMT, congrats on the win. I know how much the city of Portland loves their Blazers, and after all that you guys have gone through as a franchise with injuries, this has to feel really sweet. I feel happy for your fans and your team.
The sports misery in Houston seems never ending. The Texans finally looked like they were on the rise, with lots of folks picking them to make the Superbowl or AFC Championship game last year. Instead, they finished with the worst record of the entire NFL.
The Houston Astros have been the league laughingstock for the past couple of years now, finishing with the worst record in major league baseball for two seasons in a row now. And by the looks of it, they are well on their way to a third straight miserable season of finishing last in the majors.
And finally, basketball: my favorite sport. My Houston Rockets. After all the injuries we went through with TMac and Yao Ming in the 2000's, I was so excited when we finally landed another star in James Harden two seasons ago. And then when we landed Dwight Howard, I was even more excited for this team's potential. And although this season isn't technically over, it's looking like it's going to another first round exit for my Houston Rockets. Barring the Hawks taking down the Pacers in the first round, if the Rockets lose in round 1, you could make a very strong argument for them being the most disappointing team in the entire NBA this season.
So yes, it's miserable to be a Houston sports fan right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm always going to have my teams backs. And honestly, there are way, way, way more important things in this world than sports, and I know that. But I'm a huge sports fan, and Houston is my city. Will the misery of Houston sports ever end? I don't know. Probably someday. But right now, I feel miserable.
